Retail Data Framework
Problem
Retail company need the ability to prepare their data for analytics and combine it with third-party data. They had Snowflake setup and raw data ingested but no data structure to properly extract, catalog, and aggregate data.
Solution
Implemented dbt to manage the orchestration and transformation of pipelines. Designed and developed, curated and aggregated data layers to clean, homogenize source data for analytic reporting. Established framework for development, test, and production environments for future scaling of the data solution.
Outcome
By establishing the structure and process for a maturing data solution, the company was able to better consume their data. This gave them the ability to take data-driven actions based on insights and trends.
