rockITdata LLC (“rockITdata”, “us”, “we”, or “our”) operates www.rockitdata.com (hereinafter referred to as our “Service”).

When we refer to “personal data” in this Privacy Policy, we mean information that directly or indirectly identifies you or can be used to identify you as an individual. This Privacy Policy does not apply to aggregated, de-identified, or anonymous data.

Do Not Track Requests

Applicant Data

The “Careers” section of our Service uses a third-party platform administered by JazzHR. rockITdata will process the personal data you provide as a job applicant (“Applicant Data”). Any Applicant Data submitted via this process is also subject to the JazzHR privacy policy (https://www.jazzhr.com/privacy-policy/). We will process this Applicant Data only to determine eligibility for employment, including verification of references and qualifications; assessing qualifications for a particular job; complying with applicable laws, regulations, and rules, or for such other purposes as are reasonably required by us as otherwise set forth in this Privacy Policy; or to communicate with you about your application for employment or potential job openings, or as may otherwise be required or permitted by law. The types of Applicant Data that may be collected, held and used by rockITdata in these circumstances may include, without limitation, your first and last name, address, email address, phone number, physical address, gender, ethnicity, disability and veteran status, educational history, professional references, job history, qualifications, and any other information you may disclose to rockITdata as part of your resume or application for employment. We may share this information with our service providers as necessary to facilitate our hiring processes. If you do not provide the requested Applicant Data, or if the data you input is incomplete or inaccurate, the processing of your application may be adversely affected.

3. Use of Data

rockITdata LLC may use your personal data for various purposes:

  1. to provide and maintain our Service;
  2. to notify you about changes to our Service;
  3. to allow you to participate in interactive features of our Service when you choose to do so;
  4. to provide customer support;
  5. to gather analysis or valuable information so that we can improve our Service;

We do not use or disclose Sensitive Personal data outside of the permitted purposes set forth under Section 7027(m) of the CCPA Regulations.

  • Right to Correct: The right to request that we correct your inaccurate personal data maintained by us.
  • Right to Request Deletion: The right to request the deletion or erasure of personal data we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
  • California’s “Shine the Light” Law: California Civil Code Section 1798.83, known as the “Shine the Light” law, permits you who are California residents to request and obtain from us a list of their personal data (if any) that we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year and the names and addresses of those third parties. Requests may be made only once a year and are free of charge. We currently do not share any personal data with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.

Your request must provide sufficient information for us to reasonably verify that you are the person about whom we collected personal data or an authorized representative of such person and describe your request with sufficient detail for us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.

We cannot respond to your request if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm that the requested personal data relates to you. In order to verify your identity, we will generally require the matching of sufficient information you provide us to the information we maintain about you in our systems. Please provide your name, email address in the original request, as well as an explanation of the right you wish to exercise. We will use the information provided in a request solely to verify your identity or authority to make the request and to review and comply with the request. If you do not provide this information, we may not be able to verify or complete your request in all circumstances.

If you wish to submit a verifiable consumer request on behalf of another individual, we will also need sufficient information to verify that the individual is the person about whom we collected personal data and that you are authorized to submit the request on their behalf. For requests to know, access, correct or delete personal data, we may ask you to provide sufficient evidence to show that you have provided the authorized agent signed permission to act on your behalf, verified your own identity directly with us pursuant to the instructions set forth in this Privacy Policy, and directly confirmed with us that you provided the authorized agent permission to submit the request on your behalf.

In certain circumstances, we may decline a request to exercise the rights described above, in accordance with applicable law.

Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click a third party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.

11. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not intended for use by children under the age of 18 (“Child” or “Children”).

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from Children under 18. If you become aware that a Child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us at the email address under “Contact Us”. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from Children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes to this Privacy Policy as required by law and also post an updated copy of this Privacy Policy on this page or the Service.
