Sales Process Enhancement


A large life sciences contract research organization in the world. The existing sales process for responding to RFPs is time consuming and requires internal rework before responding to sponsors. Some issues faced were incorrect information, broken streamlined process, and faulty reporting & analytics.


Used Amazon AIML to read, capture and display key information from RFPs to assist the business team from reading lengthy documents. The first three phases of this project targeted different document types (PDF, Word, PPT) and 15 key pieces of information from the document.


A data model was developed by approximately 1M documents that were flittered for more than 600K data points. This enabled the business to identify templates and trends using key-pair values. Eventually there were 45 ML models for highest confidence scores. Continuous improvement was driven by user feedback.
